Round Hill & Villas in Jamaica, is one of the finest hotels in the world that welcome visitors in a very exclusive luxury case. As a backdrop, the Caribbean Sea, as blue as the backdrop for some once reserved for Grace Kelly or Jackie Kennedy suites, and now renovated by Ralph Lauren. Round Hill & Villas is a gem, a 1950s villa renovated with an addition of properties across the tip of the island for even more exclusivity.
The hotel has 110 rooms and suites, all beautifully decorated, with balconies overlooking the sea. But the jewels are the villas scattered on the tip, some with beautiful tropical gardens, others with direct access to beautiful beaches sand. The terraces are open, some villas have their own pool, and even in some cases their own bbq, to enjoy a dinner with friends in privacy.
Round Hill & Villas offers a fresh kitchen, both Creole and traditional, decorated to suit all pallets. The grilled lobster is one of the most common dishes with glass of champagne while waiting for the sunset. On site, guests enjoy water sports in particular, with sailing, kayaking, and of course snorkeling and diving. The hotel also features a spa, infinity pool and stunning beaches.
We particularly like Round Hill & Villas for its old-fashioned atmosphere that allows the traveler to carry on the place, but also in time and enjoy a moment of carelessness by indulging on the chaise lounge, cocktail hand, with the sound of trade winds in the palm trees. We almost hear Sinatra singing in the fund. Round Hill & Villas is one of those hotels that are able to create a unique experience for the traveler. And that's good.
